Sanjay Dutt, 'Nazar Ke Saamnay Jiggr Ke Pass' – literally

Actor on a roll, signs his latest film

Sanjay Dutt, who has been working on Toorbaz lately, has signed his next film - an action comedy, called Nazar Ke Saamnay Jiggr Ke Paas, reported the Indian Express. An anonymous source shared, “Sanjay Dutt will be shooting for this comedy film from next month. The film also stars Diana Penty, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever and Saurabh Shukla.”

The source also revealed that it is a fun film and different from what Dutt will be seen essaying in his upcoming films. People have loved his comedy and all his fans will surely be enamoured by this avatar of Sanjay too. Also, Diana has been appreciated for her comic timing in Happy Bhaag Jayegi as well so it seems to be a winning situation as of now! Johnny Lever and Saurabh Shukla, who are maestros of comedy will only be adding to the frolic-packed element of the film.

Sanju Baba will be playing a simple man from Amritsar called Nazar in the flick.

The film will be bankrolled by Legend Studios, the producers of Bhoomi which was Sanjay’s comeback film, a revenge-drama, from last year. Nazar Ke Saamnay Jiggr Ke Paas will be directed by Ajay Arora and the shoot will begin next month in Goa which will then move to Mauritius and Mumbai.

Sanjay Dutt observed during his comeback venture that the work ethics within the film industry have changed positively. “It is more professional now. Films are made on time, which is great. People are doing one film at a time, so they are focused, which is a good sign,” he stated.

Apart from Torbaaz and Nazar Ke Saamne Jigar Ke Paas, Sanjay has successfully wrapped up the shooting of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
