Currently Fawad is working on a revamped version of the cult-classic Maula Jatt, starring alongside Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malick.

Fawad Khan comes in sixth in the Sexiest Asian Men list

“Fawad has a huge fan following and after exploring television and films, there are film-makers who have been approaching him for online productions. The actor himself also seems keen to work on a web series,” a source revealed.

Fawad’s television successes are innumerable, some of the most prominent being Daastan, Hamsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai. He debuted his film career in Pakistani film industry with a supporting role in Shoaib Mansoor’s Khuda Ke Liye in 2007 and his Bollywood debut was with a lead role in a romantic comedy Khoobsurat next to Sonam Kapoor in 2014.

Super thrilled about 'Maula Jatt' and reuniting with Fawad Khan: Mahira Khan

Sadly, the ban on Pakistani actors working in Bollywood brought his career in India to a screeching halt and left a million young hearts broken. He was last seen in Bollywood in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. This, however, did not stop him from working with swelling success in Pakistan.
