With cyber space gaining more importance by the day, there is no doubt that actors are beginning to explore the galaxy of the online world with more inquisitiveness.

The actor has reportedly been approached for several web series and is now to be part of a five-episode online family drama, reported Deccan Chronicle.

Currently Fawad is working on a revamped version of the cult-classic Maula Jatt, starring alongside Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malick.

Fawad Khan comes in sixth in the Sexiest Asian Men list

“Fawad has a huge fan following and after exploring television and films, there are film-makers who have been approaching him for online productions. The actor himself also seems keen to work on a web series,” a source revealed.

Fawad’s television successes are innumerable, some of the most prominent being Daastan, Hamsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai. He debuted his film career in Pakistani film industry with a supporting role in Shoaib Mansoor’s Khuda Ke Liye in 2007 and his Bollywood debut was with a lead role in a romantic comedy Khoobsurat next to Sonam Kapoor in 2014.

Super thrilled about 'Maula Jatt' and reuniting with Fawad Khan: Mahira Khan

Sadly, the ban on Pakistani actors working in Bollywood brought his career in India to a screeching halt and left a million young hearts broken. He was last seen in Bollywood in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. This, however, did not stop him from working with swelling success in Pakistan.
