Sarfraz invites fans to Islamabad, Quetta exhibition match
Both teams warm up in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium before PSL3
Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed calls fans to attend the exhibition match between Pakistan Super League franchises Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators on Thursday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The match will start at 1730PST after performances from various singers.
Islamabad will be led by former Pakistan skipper Misbahul Haq, while current Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the Quetta side.
"I request people from Rawalpindi and Islamabad to come to the stadium and watch your heroes play in front of you. We are all waiting for you, ," said Sarfraz in a video message.
Islamabad will have the services of newly appointed head coach Waqar Younis alongside pacer Rumman Raees and spinner Shadab Khan. Actor Fawad Khan will be there to support the United team.
Meanwhile, Quetta will be assisted by former Pakistan captain and team’s head coach Moin Khan, former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, batsman Asad Shafiq and all-rounder Anwar Ali. Gladiators will have singers Fakhir and Aima Baig performing for their side.
