While Sara Ali Khan's debut film Kedarnath is floating on hot water, there might just be some light at the end of the tunnel for her. After a fallout between the producers and the director of the movie, Pinkvilla reported that the film might just be off the table.

Daughter of Saif Ali Khan from first wife Amrita Singh, Sara has reportedly been contacted by renowned film-makers such as Ashutosh Gowariker and Karan Johar. However, the 24-year-old has rejected about seven scripts that have come her way.

Rumour has it that she will be signing the sequel of Hindi Medium. Irrfan Khan, the male lead from the original film won the Best Actor Award at Filmfare this year.

Producer Dinesh Vijan is currently working on the sequel which will fast-forward by a decade and show Pia (Irrfan's five-year-old daughter from the movie) in her teens. Sara will be seen essaying Pia in Hindi Medium 2.

The makers of the film are excited to have Sara on board as her father was previously part of Dinesh's production company. Mother Amrita also played a huge part in Hindi Medium.

"Sara is one of the top contenders to play the daughter. I have just finished the script and I am going to get into casting now," said Dinesh.

Much like the original, Hindi Medium 2 will also possibly be a story on India's education system.

Bunny Rabbit | 6 years ago | Reply Sara Ali is to the manor born ... there is no dearth of producers / takers/ suitors for her . Makes no difference if this movies hits or flops to her . I would advise Saba to be careful .
