The proposed project would provide a link between Ratto Dero-Gwadar Motorway (M-8) and Surab-Hoshab Highway (N-85).

The construction of 200km road is part of the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2017-18 with an allocation of Rs100 million.

It is pertinent to mention that PC-II for construction of about 90km section from Mashkhel to Gamilandi on Quetta-Taftan Raod, falling between the proposed alignment, was already done.

The construction of Nokundi-Mashkhel-Panjgoor Road would help enhance commercial and tourist activities in the region and contribute to the economic growth through providing employment opportunities to the local people.
