Nation mourns Qazi Wajid's death

Twitter was abuzz after the news of his demise broke, calling it the end of an era

KARACHI: Renowned TV actor Qazi Wajid passed away on Sunday in Karachi after being admitted to the hospital previous evening. He was 87.

The actor was admitted to the hospital in Karachi yesterday due to cardiac pain.

The veteran actor was also awarded with a Pride of Performance Award in 1988 by the Government of Pakistan.

Twitter was abuzz after the news of his passing away broke and many called his death an end of an era for drama industry:
