Anti-Narcotics Force recovers huge quantity of heroin

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force recovered 243 kgs of heroin worth billions of rupees Wednesday, and arrested 2 smugglers in a successful raid in Kemari area of Karachi. Authorities claim this the biggest ever recovery of heroin in the history of the country.

Preliminary investigations are underway.

In yet another incident, Custom authorities foiled a bid to smuggle 11 kg of heroin worth Rs 150 million at the Lahore Airport.

The suspected drug smuggler, a resident of Peshawar was traveling from Lahore to Beijing when 11 kgs of heroin was recovered from his luggage.

During the initial investigation, accused Awais Khan revealed that he works for a man named Dr Khan, who has his 11-year-old son in custody.

Two days ago dead body of young was found on the heap of rubbish he was heroin addict. When asked his mother where from he got heroin she told me that he got it(token) from the street where it been sold out freely. Come on all criticize the role of law enforcement agencies not properly operating failed in playing the role as submitted by the the law of the land to them.

I am sure that ANF will pursue the case and will arrest people and put them behind the bars and prosecute them in the court of law. By the way let me tell to the readers of these valued columns that in most of the Islamic countries, drug smugglers are awarded death penalties. People want to see that capital punishment should be awarded to drug smugglers.
