Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Akhtar Hussein has become another bigwig facing NAB inquiry.
The premier anti-corruption body has accused Hussein of amassing assets beyond his known means. That too, in only two years on the seat that regulates the pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan.
According to a statement National Accountability Bureau Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has ordered inquiry against Hussein for having assets beyond known sources of income, declaring him deceased in two references of NAB and his appointment as CEO DRAP in BS -19 against the post of BS-21.
