Regional Cooperation: SAARC Chamber to meet today
The new headquarters will prove to be the hub of information
ISLAMABAD:
The 72nd executive committee meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) is scheduled to be held at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on February 6. The objective of the meeting is to discuss initiatives of the Saarc CCI in 2018 and formulate strategies to take regional cooperation to new levels. FPCCI President Ghazanfar Bilour and Saarc CCI Vice-President Iftikhar Ali Malik, along with members of the Saarc CCI (Pakistan) executive committee and general assembly, will host the delegates from Saarc member countries. The participants will discuss the upcoming event titled Saarc Business Leaders Conclave slated for March 16-18 along with other events of the chamber throughout the region. Furthermore, the delegates will visit the Saarc CCI building site and witness the progress on construction work. The new headquarters will prove to be the hub of information for regional economic cooperation.
