QUETTA: At least one person has been killed while eight others injured in an explosion in Balochistan's Panjgur district on Monday.

According to security forces, a remote control device went off in Chitkan Bazaar area which was planted next to a motorcycle near a local hotel in the market.

Consequently, one person died on the spot and eight others sustained serious injuries. Following the incident, levies force reached the scene and condoned off the area.

Moreover, body of the deceased and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Panjgur.

A case has been lodged and an investigation is underway in this regard.

So far, no group claim responsibility for the attack.
