The reply was submitted by Zahid Raza, the Foreign Ministry deputy chief of protocol and Deputy Attorney General Nasim Kashmiri.  The Punjab government also submitted its reply through a Home Department officer and an assistant advocate general stating that the matter was not related to the Punjab government.
