Punjab University clash: Terrorist cases registered against student workers
Tensions continued all night at the university as incidents of violence were reported by students
As violence between Punjab University students and police continues for a second day, cases of terrorism have been registered against 15 named student workers and 100 unidentified students, reported Express News.
According to Express News, three cases have been lodged against the students. The petitioner in the first case was Chief Security Office Colonel (retd) Obaid. The petitioners in the other two cases are SHO Nawa Kot Khawaja Hasan and SHO Sanda Malik Taimoor.
In the FIR, 15 students are nominated by their names while 100 unidentified personnel are also mentioned. The FIR also placed charges of terrorism on the students.

Further, 35 miscreants have been identified after the university's Vice Chancellor Dr Zakaria Zakar asked department heads to find those involved in the conflict.

Students belonging to the Seraiki Council complained that three of them were picked up and tortured by IJT members. Different student groups staged a protest outside the vice chancellor's office on Monday.
At least a dozen students were reportedly injured and several were detained by the police after a clash between two students groups at the Punjab University on Monday. The clash began in the wee hours of Monday when the IJT were preparing to host its event, the Pioneers Festival, at the Electrical Engineering Department of the university.
The IJT, Pashtun and Baloch students clashed at the venue of the event at the Electrical Engineering Department. The clash resulted in vandalism of the department and one of the rooms was also set on fire.
