The shooting for Rajkumar Hirani' biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt has been wrapped up. The makers shared a special video on Twitter to announce the completion.

Hirani, along with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor posted a picture on Twitter, with the caption, "It's a wrap. Dutt biopic shoot done."

However, one thing that has caught the attention of every one is the supposed title of the movie, imprinted on the t-shirts of the cast and crew: Dutt's The Way.

Year in Review 2017: 5 hyped Bollywood films that fell flat

Many believe that this will be the title of the much awaited biopic. If this is indeed true,  it doesn’t quite go with the controversial and serious film that the project is touted to be. However, those who have watched the initial parts of the film say that it isn’t an out and out serious film and has many comic scenes.

A leading daily quoted a source as saying, “The film is unexpectedly hilarious and people are going to be shocked. They will be laughing, especially when they find out the truth about Sanju’s younger days.”

Ranbir, who plays Sanjay's character, is also seen popping the champagne, whereas Sonam took to her social media page, sharing the happy moments while marking the last day of the shoot.

7 Bollywood films to look forward to in 2018

Talking about the project, Ranbir had once said, “I have known Sanju sir since I was a child but when I started working on the biopic, I felt it is not a biopic but science fiction. I couldn’t understand how can anyone could live a life like this. There is so much you can learn from his life. It’s not a dramatic, romantic film. It’s science fiction.”

The film also features Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and Vicky Kaushal. Presented by Fox Star Studios, the yet untitled Dutt biopic is co-produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Hirani and is slated to release on June 29.
