Al-Haram City extension illegal: RDA

Extension of Al-Haram City at Chakri Road has been declared illegal

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has declared the extension of Al-Haram City at Chakri Road illegal. RDA Metropolitan and Traffic Engineering Director Jamshed Aftab took the action under Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Sub Division Rules 2010 and banned the advertisement campaign, sale and purchase of the plot in the housing society. In a press note issued on Tuesday RDA has also warned the general public to refrain the investment in bogus housing societies or else they would be responsible themselves for their financial loss. The spokesperson of RDA, Muhammad Irfan, has said that the Commissioner Rawalpindi division and RDA Chairman Nadim Aslam Chaudhry has directed the  Metropolitan and Traffic Engineering Directorate to continue its operation against illicit housing societies ,illegal constructions and encroachments without any fear.
