Butchers of Kohat told to ensure cleanliness

They have been asked to install glass windows and to ensure cleanliness of wooden blocks they use for cutting meat

Butchers of Kohat have been told to sell only hygienic meat, get glass windows and ensure cleanliness at their shops.

Kohat Deputy Commissioner Khalid Ilyas Friday directed the butchers of the district to guarantee the provision of hygienic meat to the people.


In an official order, the butchers have been asked to install glass windows in their shops within a period of one week and to ensure the cleanliness of the wooden blocks they use for the cutting of the meat. Otherwise, stern action would be taken against them, he added.
