Chinese envoy lauds Safe City project

Akbar Nasir Khan informed the delegation that the project was the interpretation of the CM's vision of Digital Punjab

LAHORE: In his first-ever visit to any government-run institution, Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing, along with Chinese Consul General, Lahore, Long Ding Bin, on Friday led a delegation to Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA).

The delegation was welcomed by PSCA Managing Director Malik Ali Amir and PSCA Project Director Akbar Nasir Khan.

The duo briefed Ambassador Yao Jing and Consul General Bin on scope and domains of IC3 commending the integrated efficacy of Intelligent Traffic Management System, E-Ticketing and crime control through geo-strategic advanced camera-surveillance modalities in place.

Khan informed the delegation that the project was the interpretation of the CM's vision of Digital Punjab and addresses multi-faceted areas of concern.
