PESHAWAR: There is a need to control the use of drugs amongst university and college students and to stop its spread on campuses.

This was stated by Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Lt General (retired) Salahuddin Tirmizi while visiting the regional directorate of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in Peshawar on Thursday, a statement issued by the force said.

This was his first visit to Peshawar after assuming charge of the ministry.  Tirmizi was briefed about the performance of the ANF.

He assured the directorate of his complete support to curb and remove the menace of drugs in the province and in the tribal belt.
