The action was taken on the directives of tourism secretary. DTS Peshawar Inspector Jamil Khan, Shabqadar Assistant Commissioner Akram Shah and Tehsildar Zulfiqar Khan along with a police squad raided various markets and checked the registration documents of hotels, restaurants, travel agencies and rent-a-car businesses.
They sealed two unregistered travel agencies including Saba Travel and Najran International Travel Agency on Michini Road and took their records into custody.
Meanwhile, DTS officials, including Inspector Idrees, Inspector Sajid and Zuhaib met Additional Buner Assistant Commissioner Waseem Khan and informed him about action against unregistered businesses.
