Hashoo Foundation, SPFC sign climate accord

There will be cooperative activities pertaining to climate action and sustainable forestry

ISLAMABAD: In a bid to tackle climate change and improve the environment, the Hashoo Foundation has signed an agreement with the South Punjab Forest Company (SPFC).

Hashoo Foundation Country Director and Hashoo Group Corporate Social Responsibility Vice President Ayesha Khan and SPFC Chief Executive Officer Tahir Rasheed signed the MoU.

As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the foundation will participate in cooperative activities pertaining to climate action and sustainable forestry, primarily through engaging entrepreneurs and the private sector. It entails collaboration in joint proposal development, technical backstopping, third-party validations, capacity building, and leveraging private sector.
