The decision was taken in an emergency meeting of DPC headed by Maulana Yousaf Shah of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) here on Tuesday. “Instead of giving a befitting response to Trump’s allegations, the coward rulers have started an overnight action against the Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) to quench his anger,” Shah told reporters.
He said that DPC leadership strongly condemns the government for its ‘coward policies’ and failing to explain the sacrifices the country has rendered in its war against terrorism. DPC will start agitating from January 07 and the first protest will be held in Peshawar, the leader said.

He observed said that the agenda of the protests is to demand the restoration of Khatme-Nabuwat law in its true spirit, negate US President’s decision of declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel, force the rulers to respond to Trump’s diatribe and end the crackdown against FIF, a welfare arm of JUD over foreign pressure.
Shah claimed the Khatme-Nabuwat avowal clause was not restored to its true essence despite countrywide protests by Ulema. “Though they have taken the bill back, there are still some deficiencies in it which need be redressed.”
Provincial deputy general secretary of Jama’at-e-Islami Hamdullah, Maulana Ismail Dervesh and Sami Ullah Jhangvi of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at (ASWJ), Faisal Farooqui of Ansar Ul Ummah, Maulana Ahmad Khan of Jamiat Ulema Islam Nazriyati, former Member National Assembly Maulana Shah Abdul Aziz Mujahid, Jamiat Ulema-Pakistan’s Ashfaq Saraf, provincial leader of JuD Inam Ullah and leaders of other religious parties were also present on the occasion.

DPC leader said it was due to the weak policies of Nawaz Sharif government that a person like Ashraf Ghani was blaming Pakistan. “What is his status? How can Ghani use such language against Pakistan?” He added that the days of Nawaz government were now numbered and no one could protect him.
Maulana Yousaf Shah accused the government of trying to please the US President by launching a crackdown against FIF which was serving the ailing people of the country. “They have confiscated all their assets, though it has nothing to do with terrorism,” he said.
Provincial deputy general secretary of Jama’at-e-Islami Hamdullah said Pakistan had given huge sacrifices in the war against terrorism and a conclusive response should be given to Trump. He said that Trump was frustrated and putting the whole blame of America’s failure in Afghanistan on Pakistan.
