Safe City: Project aims at realising the dream of a safer Pakistan

The flagship project will be inaugurated by the CM next week

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is going to formally inaugurate Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control and Communication (PPIC3) Centre, Lahore, a flagship project of the government of Punjab next week.

In this regard, a pre-launch session was conducted in which members of Punjab Assembly under the leadership of speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal participated. SSP Project Director Akbar Nasir Khan briefed the participants about the working and efficiency of the project.

Speaking on the occasion, Iqbal said that the menace of terrorism has been controlled to a larger extent in the country. He said that the government was taking steps to bring the dream of a safer Pakistan true. It was mandatory for all of us to comply by rule of law. Punjab Safe City Project was a guarantor of the future Pakistani children, he added. This will help in curbing crime and thwarting practice of registration of fake FIRs, he said.


Industries, Commerce and Investment Minister Sheikh Alaud-Din along with other ministers concerned also participated in the event.
