Horoscope: January 1, 2018
Aries | March 20 – April 18
In early December your ruler Mars moved into one of the most complex and reflective portions of your chart. Since then you’ve faced puzzling issues, often alone but mostly in connection with others. And, often, those individuals differed with you. Challenging as it’s been, you’ve learnt lots and accomplished even more.
Taurus | April 19 – May 19
Last week, your ruler Venus moved into the most inquisitive portion of your chart and met the planet of focus, Saturn, which had moved there only days before. This began an exciting and ultimately rewarding cycle of exploration, one that will result in numerous plans, some for now and others for the future.
Gemini | May 20 – June 20
Somebody seems sure that you have the answer they need for one particularly complex situation. While you may, you’d be wise to steer clear of the individual in question, at least now, while they’re in such a demanding and emotional state. Wait a few days, until they’re calmer. Then talk things over.
Cancer | June 21 – July 21
Although every sign is influenced by the Full Moon, the fact it’s in Cancer indicates that your feelings will be heightened but, as much, you’ll be facing changes. Unsettling, if not worrying, as these seem now, within days you’ll realise they’re exactly what’s necessary to untangle persistent and puzzling dilemmas.
Leo | July 22 – August 21
As much as you’d like to be out and about, certain matters on the domestic front need attention. While you’ve hoped that others would spot and deal with these, it’s clear they don’t fully understand what’s required. Even more, you know exactly what needs to be done, and would rather do it yourself.
Virgo | August 22 – September 21
While your ruler Mercury’s retrograde cycled ended over a week ago, you’re still untangling certain errors and discovering as yet undetected mistakes. Don’t blame yourself for having missed these. With so much powerful planetary activity taking place, and triggering powerful changes, even you will have had trouble keeping track of it all.
Libra | September 22 – October 22
For ages you’ve intended to give some serious thought to elements of your domestic setup that once worked, but no longer does. But something has always distracted you. However, with the Sun, your ruler Venus and the powerful Pluto all newly arrived in this portion of your chart, the time has come to conduct that review.
Scorpio | October 23 – November 21
Being a conscientious Scorpio, the phrase ‘knowing your own mind’ is central to your thinking. So much, you wonder why others mention it. You’d never do or say something, without it being something you regard as accurate and believe in. But not everybody thinks that way. Keep that in mind now.
Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20
Because you are a fire sign, so think and act swiftly, you’re upset when situations are so slow they’re annoying. Often you’ll lose interest before you’re done. Except now, you really must finish what you’re doing. Which means pacing yourself in a way that doesn’t come naturally, but is absolutely essential.
Capricorn | December 21 – January 18
Every Full Moon brings both circumstances and feelings to a peak. And because the current one accents the structure of your life, both at home and out in the world, the questions you’re mulling over are complex. Rather than struggle to make decisions, for now, focus on exploring your options. That’s enough.
Aquarius | January 19 – February 17
Powerful as the current Full Moon may be for many, from your perspective, next month’s is far more important. In fact, because it’s in your sign, Aquarius and an eclipse, you can expect suprising events, if not breakthroughs. Knowing this dynamic period is coming, ensure any plans between now and then are flexible.
Pisces | February 18 – March 19
Only days ago, you were under the powerful and positive influence of the link between courageous Mars and your ruler Neptune. While the plans or promises you made then seemed realistic at the time, you’re increasingly less sure they’ll work out. Don’t give up, at least not yet. Persist. You’ll be glad you did.
