KARACHI:
When it comes to fashion, the options are endless. And as everyone has their own style, the same piece of clothing can be worn in so many different ways. Inevitably, some celebs end up picking out identical outfits though and it’s very interesting to see how the divas actually style them.

Compiled from Pinkvilla, here’s a lowdown of celebrities who dressed similarly on different occasions.

Mahira Khan and Alia Bhatt - Lavish Alice

Earlier this year, during the promotions of Raees in Dubai, Mahira Khan opted for a white twist-detailed Lavish Alice jumpsuit with her hair in effortless curls. Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt wore the same off-the-shoulder jumpsuit at the Youtube Fan Fest, paired with metallic pumps and her hair tied back in a bun.

For us, this was a clear win for Mahira. The fit of the clothing sits immaculately on the Bin Roye star and honestly, Alia just seems way too casual for this glam outfit.

Jacqueline Fernandez and Kourtney Kardashian - H&M

The Kardashians are known for being fashion forward and setting trends. They can quite literally pull anything off, even if it is a little risqué.

Kourtney, the eldest of the Kardashian sister clan, was recently snapped at the airport in a sparkly emerald green H&M co-ord set, featuring a sweater and matching trousers. The reality star wore her hair straight and styled her look with a pair of strappy nude heels, and oversized orange-tint shades – which were just a no-no for us.

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez actually wore this outift first. Months ago, at the poster launch of her recent film, A Gentleman, Jacqueline was seen donning the same outfit with studded metallic Louboutins and blown-out hair.

Jacqueline’s look, on the whole, was much more polished. For starters, the trousers fit her perfectly whereas they seem a little too big for the mother of three. The Kick star chose to tie her jumper up and give it more of a cropped feel, letting her waist peep through. And, for us, the rolled-up sleeves were also a great idea.

We think Jacqueline wore this better. Sorry Kourtney but the Bollywood actor just looked that tad bit chicer.

Deepika Padukone and Zayn Malik - Gucci

You probably weren’t expecting this one, were you?

After the promotions for XXX: Return of Xander Cage in Beiging, Deepika was spotted wearing a printed Gucci pajama suit with a black Balenciaga coat on top and a pair of black Louboutins. Centre-parted ponytail, a pair of black Fendi sunglasses and her Celine Phantom bag rounded-off her look.

Singer Zayn Malik, on the other hand, wore a Gucci tracksuit bomber jacket with the same print for the August cover of Vogue with his supermodel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.

Although the only things the Pillowtalk hitmaker styled his outfit with was a bit of stubble, blonde hair and tattoos, Zayn definitely stole this show.

Mawra Hocane and Kareena Kapoor – tasselled earrings

At her nutritionist's book launch, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan looked her stylish self. Wearing Missoni separates that included a colour block chevron top and a patterned skirt, the Jab We Met actor opted for a sleek ponytail and accessorised wih long Valliyan shoulder dusters. In our opinion, there’s just way too much going on here and the bold blue earrings just made matters worse.

Mawra Hocane wore much similar jewellery earlier this year. Eidul Fitr saw the actor opt for traditional appeal in a lavender outfit with minimal detailing. Light pink embroidery and tassels on the hem went perfectly with the angrakha cut and although some may think the tasselled earrings were too matchy-matchy, we think otherwise – she managed to pull it off!

Vaani Kapoor and Serena Williams - Burberry

For a cosmetic brand’s store launch, Befikre actor Vaani Kapoor sported a printed Burberry trench dress. She accessorised the dress with a belt cinching at the waist and wore two-toned Jimmy Choo sandals. Her hair and makeup was kept simple and she opted for no jewellery.

The then mummy-to-be and tennis star Serena Williams styled the same Burberry dress with minimalistic jewellery, including a pair of earrings and a diamond pendant. She went for soft wavy hair and for footwear; Serena chose white Manolo Blahnik pumps.

This one was a very close call. Although Vaani looks ever so stunning, Serena totally rocked that baby bump!

Sonam Kapoor and Nicole Kidman - Dior

Clad in a flowy nude, embroidered Dior dress, Sonam Kapoor can be seen posing ever so happily for a picture. The dress was rather fun with peculiar prints and the hem reading ‘L' Amoureuse’.

Adding a quirky element to the look, Sonam chose to wear a printed bralette with the straps showing. Adorning the look with a dainty black choker and gold necklace, the Aisha actor sported simple black Aquazzura ballet flats – bad idea. A centre-parted low messy bun and glowy makeup completed her look.

Also seen wearing this Dior outfit was Academy award winner Nicole Kidman. The Lion actor attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala this year and graced the red carpet in this striking dress, a pair of nude Dior heels, a glittering Fred Leighton necklace and an Omega watch.

Although Sonam’s choice of footwear could have been better, the Khoobsurat actor still wore this better.
