The historical Saidpur Village is located at the foothills of the lush green Margalla Hills
ISLAMABAD:
The small village of Saidpur has long been a magnet for tourists — local as well as foreign — for a long time now. The Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) Environment Wing has now set up a tourist centre in the village to facilitate visitors. The centre was inaugurated by Islamabad Mayor and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz on Wednesday. The historical Saidpur Village is located at the foothills of the lush green Margalla Hills. He said that the natural beauty and green character of Islamabad had been a great attraction for tourists. He hoped that the tourist centre would help provide visitors to the village with guidance and information about this historical place, creating awareness regarding its historical significance.
