MoU finalised: Sudanese varsity keen to enhance ties with IIUI

Both sides are expected to launch short courses on Arabic for the faculty and students

A Sudanese varsity has expressed its desire to enhance ties with Pakistani varsities in bilateral cooperation and academic excellence through joint ventures.

In this regard, matters for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) and the in Sudan University of Africa have been finalised.

This was decided at a meeting between IIUI President Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh and Sudan’s Ambassador Taj Addin Al-Hadi at the new campus of the university.

Both sides are expected to launch short courses on Arabic for the faculty and students through mutual cooperation and have agreed to arrange seminars and conferences on key issues.

Dr Al-Draiweesh appreciated the efforts to sign the agreement and extended cooperation between them. He also thanked the ambassador for his support and cooperation.
