KOHAT: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-S) Maulana Samiul Haq warned Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) to stop labelling the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as a Jewish agent, adding that whatever the politician was doing it was according to the teachings of Islam.

“Whatever Imran is doing it is according to the teachings of Islam and we don’t see anything Jewish in him,” Haq said while addressing a gathering in Kohat on Tuesday. He added that PTI and JUI-S are united and will remain so “till our last breath”.

The JUI-S chief claimed that multiple suggestions proposed by the party were turned down by President Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif. He added that he had turned down those suggestions since he was following the Jewish agenda. He also added that his party made an alliance with PTI over principles.

Haq told his followers that JUI-S had joined the Mutahidda Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) in the past, but his party was ignored by the alliance when it was in power. He said that this was also one of the reasons why the JUI-S joined hands with PTI.

The JUI-S chief also stated that the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) should be immediately abolished and the tribal areas be merged with K-P
