Battling disease: Extended phase of cancer project launched
Focal person of Punjab Cancer Project Prof Ahmed Ijaz Masood was the key note speaker on the occasion
MULTAN:
On special instructions of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the oncology department, in collaboration with Novartis, launched the cancer project’s extension phase at Nishtar Medical University (NMU) on Saturday. The aim of the project is to provide 100% free treatment to additional 3,000 cancer patients.
Commissioner Bilal Ahmed Butt, Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha, NMU Vice-Chancellor Zafar Hussain Tanvir and others were present.
