LAHORE: The opposition benches demanded the government take necessary steps to control the prices of essential food items, especially vegetables. Pakistan Tehrkee-e-Insaf Legislator Dr Murad Rass submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday.
He contended that Punjab is an agricultural province and despite that the prices of vegetables are increasing with each passing day. It is now becoming difficult for a common man to buy vegetables. He said that potatoes, tomatoes, onion are out of range of common people.
