Quality assurance must for higher education sector

Research on quality assurance carried out in the higher education institutes should be translated into the economic development as well as overall uplift of the society, said Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department (HED) Secretary Syed Zafar Ali Shah.
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of 1st International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education organised by Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.
Representatives and heads of QEC’s of more than 97 universities of the country, researchers, quality assurance experts were also present at the occasion.
