Three killed in Sargodha in separate incidents

Man shoots dead son-in-law for marrying his daughter against his will

SARGODHA: A man was killed by his father-in-law in Sahiwal police limits on Monday. Police said a youth named Muhammad Riaz, the resident of Chak Qazi tehsil Sahiwal, married Asma Bibi against the will of her father, Muhammad Ramzan, who along with his unknown accomplices allegedly shot dead Riaz and fled. Police registered a case and started an investigation.

The victim's body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.

In a separate incident, police said that Allah Divaya, the resident of Chak Bandial Shumali Tehsil Jauhrabad, had an old enmity with Hayat Lahri.

On the day of the incident, Hayat along with Jahan Khan Mujhoka was on his way home on a motorcycle when Allah Divaya and Fateh Sher shot them dead and fled.

In another incident, Fateh Khan of village Choha allegedly shot dead his relative Rizwan Hameed over a family dispute. Police have registered cases and started the investigation.

Man dies in accident

A man was killed while another three suffered injuries in a road accident in Saddar police limits on Monday.

Police said that Fahad Hussain, the resident of Chak 84, Madina Town, was riding a motorcycle when a rickshaw coming from the opposite direction collided with the two-wheeler near by-pass Chak 92 Morr.

Fahad died on the spot while three passengers travelling on the rickshaw suffered injuries.

The injured were shifted to DHQ hospital and police registered a case.
