Policeman in SHC CJ's squad dies in crash

A police mobile in the squad collided with a bus which was reportedly parked along the roadside

HYDERABAD: A police official died on Monday and two others were injured when the squad of the Sindh High Court (SHC) chief justice (CJ) met with an accident in Thatta district. The deceased cop was identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Karam Dad, son of Fazaluddin.

The accident took place in the Gujjo area when the SHC CJ was travelling from Karachi to Thatta to attend a foundation stone laying ceremony and reception hosted by the bar.

A police mobile in the squad collided with a bus which was reportedly parked along the roadside, resulting in the death and injuries.

IHC asked to help stop police harassment

The injured policemen, Suhail Ahmed and Yaqoob, were shifted to Karachi where the condition of Ahmed was termed critical.
