Karachiites were woken up to a surprise as the city was hit by rain showers and pellets of hail early Monday morning.
Clouds gathered over the city and the citizens were woken up by the loud thunder. The Met office has forecasted more rain for Karachi, saying intermittent rainfall will continue for another day.
People took to Twitter to express their shock, joy and overall excitement.
