Five-day campaign : Anti-polio drive kicks off today

Punjab Emergency Operations Centre has decided to hold polio eradication campaigns in a number of cities of province

LAHORE: The Punjab Health Department’s Sehat Muhafiz polio eradication teams will visit door-to-door to vaccinate nearly seven million children in eight districts of the province in a campaign starting from Monday (today).

The Punjab Emergency Operations Centre has decided to hold polio eradication campaigns in a number of cities of the province, said Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Khawaja Imran Nazir.

“All children of five years will be vaccinated in DG Khan, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Rawalpindi, and Rahim Yar Khan.”
