LAHORE:
Lahore, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Academy, Multan and Karachi comfortably defeated their rivals on day two of the ongoing 3rd PHF Junior Super Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium.
In the first match of the day, Lahore beat Quetta 3-0. Ali Hamza, Arslan Sherazi and Hafiz Sardar scored a goal each. PHF Academy outplayed Faisalabad 3-1 in the second match with Daud Khalid, Zohaib Ashraf and Ali Hassan scoring for the winners before Waseem Abbas netted for the losing side.
Meanwhile, Multan beat Peshawar 6-1 as Faisal Qadir, Arslan Qadir, Khurram Shahzad and Umar Hamdi scored one each while Safir Hussain netted a brace. For Peshawar, Samiullah Sadiq scored the consolation.
In the last match, Karachi defeated Sialkot 2-0 courtesy goals from Ali Nouman and Zohaib Azeem Khan.
