Agriculture is backbone of Pakistan’s economy: experts
Speaking on the occasion, FAO Representative Pakistan Mina Dowlatchahi said joint and collaborative efforts of the government and FAO have resulted in control and eliminated several animal diseases like foot and mouth, which were causing huge losses to the local livestock sector. She said that so far FAO completed about 60 different development projects from 2012-17 and spent an amount of $200 million.
