KARACHI: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair said on Wednesday that federal government-funded schemes for smaller cities in Sindh including Thatta, Jacobabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Naushero Firoz and Sujawal are as focused on infrastructure development as those in Karachi.

Talking to Federal Minister for Communications Hafiz Abdul Kareem during a meeting held at Sindh Governor House, he said sound infrastructure was a prerequisite for national development. “Otherwise, people may not fully benefit from CPEC,” the governor was quoted as saying.
