Tribal clash: Four people killed in Sibi

QUETTA: Four people were killed in a village in Sibi district on Thursday due to an internal tribal clash. The victims belonged to Abro tribe, a local official of the Balochistan Levies said.

There was a dispute between two groups in Goth Pir Palawan Shah in Sibi. One of the groups had refused a marriage proposal, tehsildar Naeem Shawani said.

Members from both sides opened fire at each other which resulted in the death of four men and injured two. Law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot after receiving information from local people. The deceased and the injured were taken to Bhag Hospital.

A case has been registered and both groups are being interrogated. No arrest, however, has been made yet.
