Additional responsibilities: Waqar Haider new director FIA Punjab

Notification issued by the FIA headquarter in this regard.

LAHORE: The additional charge of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Punjab’s director has been assigned to the Additional Director FIA Anti Corruption Circle (ACC) Waqar Haider till further orders, The Express Tribune has learnt.

In this regard a notification has been issued by the FIA headquarters on Wednesday. According to the notification, Haider has been assigned the post in addition to with own responsibility as the FIA’s additional director.

This notification has been issued with the approval of competent authority. Ironically, the status of Inam Ghani, who earlier  served as FIA Punjab’s director, has not been cleared  in the said notification. Inam Ghani is on a six day leave, which begins from Monday, the sources in the FIA said.
