QUETTA:
The executive body of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) is united under the leadership of its president Asma Jahangir, and there is no truth in the propaganda according to which differences had emerged in the body, said the SCBA vice-president Jahanzaib Khan Jadoon. While talking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said the SCBA was acting as a bridge between the government and the judiciary, while adding that Asma Jahangir and her companions had struggled against the dictatorship and for the reinstatement of sacked judges. “No person has any importance but the rule of law, which has to be ensured by the government and the judiciary,” he said. Jadoon again dispelled the impression that the SCBA’s executive body was divided, while stating that all decisions were being taken in consultation with every member of the SCBA.
