LAHORE: Ambassador of Romania Nicolaie Goia said on Monday that there is massive room for promotion of trade between Pakistan and Romania, while talking to senior officials of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “Private sectors of both the countries should intensify business-to-business contacts,” Goia said, assuring that the Romanian Embassy will extend full cooperation in this regard.  The Romanian ambassador said that to boost the existing trade volume, extra ordinary efforts are required, adding that Pakistan is a resourceful country with fertile land and high quality fruits and vegetables. He said Romanian investors are keen to step in joint ventures with their Pakistani counterparts for which regular exchange of delegations between the two countries can help boost the bilateral trade volume which at the moment does not match the potential exist in the two countries.
