KARACHI: A Japanese group has announced that it will start work on an information technology project with an investment of Rs50 million at SITE Super Highway, which will train youth and provide them with better employment opportunities. Addressing a Japanese delegation comprising the Japanese Group Data Transferring System chairman and director, Sindh Commerce and Industries Minister Rauf Siddiqui said that in the aftermath of the disaster in Japan, a large number of small industries in the country had been transferred to other countries.

He said that Japanese investors should invest in Pakistan as best investment opportunities were available in Sindh, where security, cheap labour, land and government support would be available. The project is expected to be completed in five years.
