PESHAWAR: The energy crisis in the country has forced Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) to start loadshedding throughout Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, said a press release issued on Wednesday.

Like other distribution companies, it is carrying out seven to nine hours load shedding on all 11 KV feeders according to the allotment of 720 mw quota in power shortfall.

The release said loadshedding is a compulsion but its duration can be reduced with the cooperation of public by minimising use of electricity, replacing bulbs with tube lights and energy savers and reducing use of other appliances.
