A Pakistan-sponsored resolution has been passed unanimously by the United Nations General Assembly on Monday over the right to self-determination for people who are subject to foreign occupation is testament to India's isolation on the Kashmir issue, according to the foreign office.

The resolution has been adopted every year for the past four decades which highlights human rights violations by the Indian occupying forces in held Kashmir.

It also underscored how the Indian side has tried to pass off its own crimes against humanity as counter terrorism efforts.

It is imperative for India to implement the resolutions of United Nations Security Council that call for a free and fair election and allow the Kashmiri people to choose their own destiny.
