Currently a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Amir specifically asked if the UK has ever had a female prime minister or not.

Things got politically at the reality show while the participants were taking part in a task that required one of them to play the role of a prime minister. It was at this moment that Amir blurt out the trivial question.
However, he later corrected himself saying, "Oh, Margaret Thatcher!" and asked his camp mates to not tell anyone about his mistake.

But, it was already too late. Twitterati were quick to express their concerns.
“has there ever been a woman prime minister” oh amir khan 😂😭😫

Even British comedian Jason Manford, who appeared with him on Who Wants to be a Millionaire voiced his misfortune.

I’m starting to feel a little bit hard done to when I was partnered with him on Celeb Who Wants to Be a Millionaire! #imaceleb pic.twitter.com/SqylNk5pPh
Another fan proposed a new theory.

At this point, it's needless to say that Amir will be the least bit concerned about internet-mockery.
