PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) reforms costing Rs90 billion would usher in an new era of progress and development in the area.

He said this while speaking to a delegation of journalists from South Waziristan who called on him at the Governor House in Peshawar.

Fata reforms: Govt to withdraw Rewaj Act, Senate told

The governor hailed the efforts of the media in bringing out truth and extending a helping hand to the government in resolving various issues.

The journalists expressed their gratitude to the governor for initiating the reforms process and ensuring timely completion of the project.

The delegation was headed by Chairman Wana Union of Journalists, Adam Khan.
