The district government has directed the local governments’ representatives to make a comprehensive action plan for ensuring cleanliness of towns and villages in the district under the Khadim-e-Punjab Saaf Dehat Programme (KPSDP).

Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha said that cleanliness arrangements were being launched under the rural development package and it would ensure cleanliness of the areas. He added that Rs2.5 million were allocated to each union council.
