Breast cancer day held

PESHAWAR: An awareness campaign was launched against Breast Cancer at Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT) to create awareness among women students of the university.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr Saleemur Rehman said that lack of awareness was a major impediment in timely diagnosis and treatment.

Breast Cancer Expert Dr Irnum said women feel shy to speak about the disease due to which it reaches the last stage before being detected.
