ASTORE:
Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Advisor Sadia Danish said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had given an identity to the women of the region. Talking to APP on Sunday, she said the party’s women wing had brought many reforms for the women of Gilgit-Baltistan which were lacking in the past. She said the government had started many development programmes for women, including training centres and women skill development centres, which hundreds of women were getting benefits from. “Women are being encouraged to participate in all major political and administrative activities in the region,” she added.
