Speaking at the convocation, the federal minister, who was also the guest of honour, thanked the university for the degree and said that it was an honour to receive it from his alma mater. He said, “I dedicate this honour to my parents and teachers”.
Congratulating the graduates, he admired the role of UET in developing Pakistan and said that the varsity was playing its role for many decades by producing renowned professionals. He said that he would play his role for maintaining these efforts and for further progress of the varsity.
Ahsan Iqbal said, “For career building, talent of youth must be channelized in an optimal way. Government has initiated many projects for engaging youth in various projects.
