Transfers: DPO reshuffles CIA division

SIALKOT: District Police Officer (DPO) Bilal Siddique Kamiyana has transferred all the officials working in the CIA division, including three inspectors and two sub inspectors, to the Police Lines Sialkot with immediate effect.

Kamiyana said that the officials had been transferred due to poor performance and also issued show cause notices to the accused. “The officials failed to arrest notorious proclaimed offenders in the district. They also failed to conduct effective raids,” he said. The DPO said that a new team was being constituted to conduct raids.
